Alkaline Trio show pt 2

After retrieving my camera and some extra BA stickers from our truck, I hand a stack of them to Dorothy and give her a ceremonial street-team-induction smack on the ass, and name her DST. We shed a few tears, and ventured back to Emo’s to see if we really were as lucky as it was seeming this evening. If you read the last blog, we met Alkaline Trio at a bar and bought them some beers, as I told the sobbiest of sob stories about how thier show is sold out, it’s my 2 year wedding anniversary, and we drove 3 hours. We talked together about BA, and other things, and hey decided to put our name on the guest list.
So GameOver, Dorothy (DST), and I make our way to the back door, and sure enough, my name’s on the list with two guests! We walk right in, past all the poor souls that can’t get in, and begin tagging the place up with Burning Angel stickers as we make our way to the bar for our first celebratory beer. We’re vandalizing walls, poles, beers people were drinking, the bar register, and some lucky strangers I suspect wont discover thier sticker until they get home and take thier shirt or pants off! Many walked around as walking BA buildboards without even noticing.
The three of us stood somewhat in the back and enjoyed the show from a safe distance, as we got to the venue late and the place was packed, and I was being hit on by a lesbian the entire time who wanted to take me home, or at east find some sort of action. Why do I always attrack the dykes? Anyway, so we met some great people, including a nice older couple who had brought thier daughter to see the show. Unfortunately we didnt get to thank the band because they rushed off stage after thier performance and jumped in the bus.
After the show we took DST to her FIRST strip club, Rick’s Cabaret, a club I occassionally dance at when I’m in Austin. She loved it! The waitresses walked around in adorable red corsets, and there were actually some good dancers that night, I’m glad she didnt have to sit through the duds. A few people recognized me from BA who were also at the A3 show, so I gave them some stickers and an autograph.
sorry it took so long for me to finally finish this, guys! I’ll try to be more attentive to my BA family now
